Proclamation congratulating Anthony and Audrey Iacone upon the occasion of their 50th wedding anniversary.

WHEREAS, Anthony and Audrey Iacone celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on August 29, 2020; and
WHEREAS, Anthony and Audrey were married at Concordia Lutheran Church in Brentwood on August 29, 1970; and
WHEREAS, Anthony and Audrey started a family and had two daughters, Andrea and Amanda. Anthony and Audrey also have three grandchildren, Ian, Julia and Griffin to Andrea and Anthony Graham. Amanda is married to Jonathan Grant; and
WHEREAS, Anthony and Audrey have demonstrated the meaning of true love, which is often interpreted to mean a love that includes respect, admiration, care, and never subjecting your partner to hurt, humiliation or any form of abuse. After 50 years, it would be hard to argue that Anthony and Audrey have not found the meaning of true love; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that I, Allegheny County Council Member John Palmiere, do hereby congratulate Anthony and Audrey Iacone on the occasion of their 50th wedding anniversary and wish them continued health, happiness and love for one another.
